SSN has been completely staffed by volunteers. All services are free but they cost SSN. Because of the increasing number of spouses, we cannot continue to rely on volunteer help. The cost of supplies, postage, and phones, (now donated) far exceeds the money that comes from donations. If you want to help keep services available for spouses worldwide and expand SSN programs to meet growing needs, then please think about donating right now -- or pledging a monthly contribution. Just a dollar a week ($52 a year) from just a hundred individuals would cover one edition of the eight-page News & Notes!

A note about mailings from SSN! Upon receiving your gift we will begin sending you a copy of our newsletter "News and Notes". This newsletter generally comes out about three times per year. We may also may send out mailings regarding fund raising and other issues relevant to the Straight Spouse Network. If you would prefer not to receive these mailings, please write the words "NO MAIL" in the "Comments" field of the donation form. IF you would like to receive these mailings but would prefer to receive them via email (which will also help us cut costs), please write the word, "EMAIL" in the "Comments" field of the donation form (and be sure to fill in your email address on the donation form as well).

NOTE: We use a third party service GiveDirect to process our credit cards. This allows us to save money and apply more of your donation to services for straight spouses. Please be aware that your credit card statement will read GiveDirect rather than Straight Spouse Network.

Gentle Reminder: ANYTHING (books, electronic equipment, games, etc. ) purchased from Amazon via our home page gives SSN a small commission that helps us continue our free services to spouses, partners, and mixed-orientation couples through nine Internet lists, 72 support groups in the US and 7 other countries, and one-on-one contacts in every US state and 11 countries.
